Is there an industry standard for preferred domain values where a domain contains two entries for the same unit? In other words, for a volume capactiy (d_uomvol) measured in gallons, which is preferred:
1. GAL_US (A unit of capacity or volume used in liquid measure equal to 4 quarts or 3.785 liters
or
2. USGAL (Gallons (U.S. liquid))
Can we expect to see both versions of the same unit in version 3.0? Or will one or the other be phased out? |
