I'm updating the grit chamber layer for our client and have encountered the following: For stor_cpcty I'm typing in the storage volume of the grit chamber (in my example, 143). The next attribute is cpcty_u_d which should store the units of the volume (in my example, gallons). The cpcty_u_d attribute is linked with the d_uomrat domain table which is the domain for rates, not for volumes. Is this an error, or should I use a different attribute to store the capacity? |

| Although I am not a grit expert, it appears to me that the stor_cpcty is for volume not rate. The flowcpcty attribute is for rate. That attribute does appear to have the correct domain. I would change the attribute for stor_cpcty to d_uomvol. If this has been built in your database, just change the attribute reference. If it does not, it will have to be built. In either case, this is a fairly easy manual change. I will pass this along to the utilities folks. Thanks. |
