Welcome Message
Welcome to The new SDSFIE.  The SDSFIE Steering Group, made up of members from the Armed Forces and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, has set an ambitious goal of creating the DoD standard for facilities, infrastructure, environment, and civil works.  To obtain such a lofty vision, SDSFIE has to undergo major changes and this new web site is the first of many.  Over the next year, a new Logical Data Model (LDM) for SDSFIE will emerge.  Throughout that period, users will be able to provide input, making it the best possible model.  Participation from the community, along with the talents of a dedicated contractor team can create an easily implemented LDM that will serve users' needs.  However, the LDM is only part of the story.  SDSFIE success depends on better communication, new training, and new tools.  Please visit the page frequently for updates and your chance to participate.
